Cold

So my apartment is freezing cold and has been this whole winter. I feel like I shall never get warm. It reminded me of the fact that every staff week I have ever attended has been cold and I have forgotten to bring anything more than a light jacket. The worst was when I worked up in the Uintah mountains at Frontier. I went straight from a vacation at Mesa Verde to camp. We slept in wall tents and most nights that week got well below freezing. I had only brought a t-shirt thin jacket and since we were outside the whole week I thought I was going to freeze to death. Thankfully this was the BSA and the staff of mostly boys would be chivalrous and lend me their extra sweatshirts and coats. I would get so cold I couldn't stop shaking. The joke was I needed some fat on my body so I would have some insulation. Good times.
